Welcome to the United Kingdom Virtual TT
Haywood Sports presents the United Kingdom Virtual TT 5km Series. A virtual Time Trial series where you pit yourself against the clock, challenge your friends and find out where you stand against other paddlers and become a finisher of the UK Virtual TT.
Who can join the UK Virtual TT events?
The UK Virtual TT Series is open to everyone, all you need is a SUP, Prone Board, Canoe or Kayak and a way to track your distance and time. You can enter a single event to give it a try or the entire series.
How to Enter
It’s very simple, enter the event here on the website and then it's down to you. The event rules are below, we just ask you to be honest with your results, be fair on your water and condition choices and most importantly enjoy the challenge.
Setting Your Time
During the event you can attempt to set your best time as many times as you like, then submit your time before the event finishes on the submission page here. Don't forget you will need your ticket number from your entry and to upload your image or file of your tracking log as well.
All results will be revealed on the website the day after the event on the Results page here.
You can also see the full results from the previous events here. Check out everyone's time, their pace and average speed in our full category listings.
Be Safe - It's yourself against the clock but please wear an appropriate leash and make sure someone knows you're out on the water. We recommend using the PaddleLIVE feature within the Paddle Logger iOS app so friends and family know you are safe and can track your progress - details here.
Be Fair - You can paddle on rivers, lakes, canals or the sea, just remember to be fair to others however with the conditions you choose. We ask you to not use the tides, river flow or wind to your advantage and be honest with your results.
Own Risk - Remember you are taking part at your own risk - paddle in conditions you feel comfortable in and make sure someone knows you are on the water.
Start & Finish - To make it as fair as possible, you must start and finish in the same spot.
Standing Start - You must also start from a standstill on all your attempts, no rolling starts.
No Drafting - This is an individual Time Trial - do paddle it with friends but no drafting each other or boat wash to gain an advantage.
Upload Results - Submit your best time on the haywoodsports.com website before the event closes on the submission page. Times outside of the event window will not be counted - you must complete your Time Trial within the dates of the event.
